Just a brief moment during a visit with the Sistoiree at my house… let’s just say Sketch couldn’t get enough of Auntie Leslie’s loving

Gloria and I were sitting on the couch by the picture window and an owl stopped by right outside
I had to get some shots! He even blinked for us!

Enjoy the video of Sketch encouraging me as I do my vocal exercises… and yes, this happens EVERY time I do them!

We love to watch the critters in our backyard and woods out the picture window in the family room… I spotted these furry cuties after Allen had disposed of some food back there (we do it on purpose so they’ll come)
June 2009
Matt spoiled us by making us dinner and in return I tortured he and Andrea by making them pose for a few pictures… they look tortured right?
1 January 2009
This is day 2, New Year’s Day including everything from brunch at Bill & Marilyn’s, family portraits at Kemp & Rosalyn’s followed by dinner and family fellowship time.

This is day 1, New Year’s Eve including everything from breakfast at Kemp & Rosalyn’s, fellowship at Bill & Marilyn’s, culminating with a White Elephant Gift Exchange to bring in the new year!

After many weeks of waiting the day finally arrived and guess what? The gift she already had opened WASN’T her “real” present after all! What a fun day filled with lots of love
June – September 2008
These show the process of creating Andrea’s birthday quilt(s). The gift was kept a secret much to her chagrin, but was sure to be a blessing in the long run!
September 2008
So after torturing her for a couple weeks, Andrea finally got to open her gift. We had such a wonderful time
September 2008
Hard to believe it’s been a month already, but it has and he is growing fast… or should I say STRONG! He is a strong lil’ dude! And he loves his Pawpaw… of course, what’s not to love
September 2008
I got the honor of teaching miss Andrea how to sew! Our first project? Pillows for her couch! She made them and then dyed them; then we finished them up… they came out beautifully!
September 2008
Twenty-three days of torture until Andrea’s birthday. But today she got to see and inspect the wrapped box.
September 2008
These two goof balls can do this for long periods of time, much to the enjoyment of us onlookers… they’re so silly
September 2008
Not for the faint of heart! It doesn’t turn out well for the squirrel (poor little fella!), but Allen was VERY proud of his pooch
The other squirrel is a different one very much alive and happily avoiding the dog!
June 2008
Shot over a two-day period, this was simply us taking a moment to intentionally close some old doors to make way for what God has coming!
June 2008
I had the opportunity to go and visit my Aunt Ann and Uncle Carel for the first time in years and we had a blast! Ann and I went to visit Thomas Stone’s home These give a flavor of some of our time together…
January – June 2008
Chasing light, in the snow, playing with a turtle, watching a deer… LOVE this crazy dog!
May 2008
Marcus came and stayed with us for about 6 weeks – he managed to dodge the camera until the last day… love this guy!
24 September 2007
Our baby girl turned 25! We got her a quarter cake to celebrate her quarter of a century
We had a marvelous time!
July 2007
When Ashley got home from having her haircut she just looked so pretty we had to get some pictures of her
July 2007
Sheila and Andrea came over for girls’ night at our house and we had a little bit of fun with the camera! It all started while I was making cabbage and Andrea commented, “Hey that looks like a hat…” It was downhill from there!
