Mass Emails
Purpose of survey: to assess users' perspectives on the volume and methods of mass emails from not-for-profit organization.
Technique Utilized
Goal
- To conduct identical surveys on two key user groups to assess level of satisfaction with current email methods.
High-Level Findings
User group #1 consisted of 719 individuals, 229 (9.7%) responded. User group #2 consisted of 6182 individuals, 1453 (7.6%) responded. For a total response rate of 7.9%.
The majority of the users felt they were kept well-informed of products and events. Over 40% of them were comfortable with receiving as many emails as needed to keep them informed, which was surprising since many of them received 15+ emails per month.
Overall, users were satisfied with current email methods.
